This column is intended to give you some suggestions on relevant and respected ITSM qualifications that have become available since the last prime number year, 2003. All qualifications listed here are completely relevant to ITSM best practice in 2011.

Qualifications are listed in order of year of introduction and show the owner of the qualification, the level, the normal classroom course length, exam length and exam style. Levels are my own opinions and are denoted by:
L1 Foundation – Basic knowledge and understanding.
L2 Practitioner – Skills to apply/use.
